One thing you have to make certain of with a series crossover is that the impedances of both the woofer and tweeter are both flat and both the same. Otherwise you will run into problems not normally encountered with a parallel crossover. Recently over at the MADISOUND discussion forum was a 'series' of debates on the virtues of series vs. parallel crossovers. MADISOUNDS John k laid most of the arguements to rest. Even Jon Risch's technical expertise could not stand up to the hard data and research presented by John k....
