Rethink your question. You might try the $15000 supply from HP, but that might be over kill. You want to know what is the best for my application. Then you want to define you app. How much current do you need and at what voltage? Remember idle current has little to do with working current. You need lots in reserve. How much power are we talking about? Watts is watts and the heat has to go somewhere. So how much power. Thats volts times apms = power. Which is more important to you, load regulation or line regulation? How about ripple? How much ripple can you stand? You get the idea, I don't mean to be mean but let us know more of what your doing and we can give better answers, OK. Good Luck, bobwire
