Hullo bobwire,Thanks for that caution. Is there an easy way to identify the type of PS? For what it is worth, the Toshiba has a transformer mounted on the PS PCB (yuck), and I did see two or three components that I assumed were voltage regulators (three-legged semis), but I couldn't positively identify them.
