Yes, the Radio Shack 75-ohm terminators DO contain a 75 ohm resisitor. I am currently using them on the unused "cable" inputs on my TV--it made a minor improvement in picture quality--well worth their rediculously low price. As for digital terminations, I suggest getting some decent RCA or BNC plugs (whatever your system uses--obviously, BNC is preferable), and soldering a high grade 75 ohm resistor between the center and the shield inside the plug. I used some fairly ordinary ($3/each price range) plugs and Dale .1%, 75 ohm, resisitors (I had them left over from a preamp project). They made a subtle, but noticeable differance in my system. I'd recommend it as a cheap tweak that gives results.
Good luck!
Allan
