Digital out terminator help (Jon Risch)

205.138.126.195

I want to make or buy a terminator for the digital out on my CDP. I found in a old post that Radio Shack makes some, but in the form of an F connector, will this work with an RCA? Anyone know if these have a 75 ohm resistor or do they simply "cap" the output like a piece of foil would? They are only a buck or so.

If I make one, I am not sure how the heck to do it. If I buy a 75 ohm resistor, then what? I have some old crap RCA patch cords I could cut up and use if needed, any instructions would be appreciated. I have access to solder and a soldering gun if needed.

Thanks,
