I disagree. To me 8545 is dull and flat sounding. Some people like it. I think it can sound beautiful even with simplest XO. You may have a XO problem. Or Rotel problem. You may want to try the XO from LC Audio. I tried it in a similar setup with 9300 tweeter, and the sound was fabulous. Or maybe S-S made some changes in the driver that I am unaware of ?
