You should be able to put together something that will cover around 250Hz - 5kHz without X-Over. Look at 4" and 5" Seas Papercones as used by Audiophysics.... BTW, if you trick this out right you can avoid having to use any diffraction loss correction for Midrange.
I personally would sugget you look at the Avanti or something similar for ideas. The 8545's would easily get down to cover 30Hz.
