Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

Hello!
I am in search of an EL34/6CA7/KT77 type tube (strictly) for a Marshall JTM45/100 (EL34 version 4B). The B+ at the plate measures at 583-586V, and the amp can dish out some 130W+ RMS.
This amp is a bit of a monster and is reputed for eating tubes. What are excellent choices without having to perform any modifications to amp?
The Gold Lion KT77 came to mind as a main go-to, but I'm looking for 2nd opinions.

May your tubes be lively, warm, and long-lasting. Holy be thy heater.
