Due to varying info online I have a question regarding coupling caps. MY Heathkit W4 amps came with 0.25uF coupling caps. Well it is pretty well impossible to find 0.25uF. My question which is the best thing to do since I can't find 0.25uF. Go to 0.33uF or down to 0.22uF both being 600V caps. I know one of the two methods either increases bass or not. But I don't remember what? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
