Not compared with any other horns but they have very accurate imaging provided set up well. This is important to me but good imaging usually means small sweet spot - AGs included.
I've had box speakers in my room and more recently 2 ESL systems. The Quad 2905s were also very good with imaging and the Martin Logan 13As quite good but the Duos bring forward the music such that you're sitting much closer to the musicians. I like this feature particularly when a solo singer seems to be singing from my hifi rack between the speakers. With the MLs the soloist is considerably further away.
I suggest you carefully read Stereophile's original review of the Uno system as it very well describes the presentation of music. It was just what I wanted after putting up with ATC speakers for a year so so. These were no doubt very accurate but so "in your face" I wanted to push them 20 ft further away!
I can thoroughly recommend AG speakers including these old Unos and Duoes but go for ones with SUB225 not the 170s. I've had Unos 18 years since new but the Duos only a few weeks. Peter
