Dipoles aren’t perfect, but have a way of doing things that most fully enclosed, conventional driver speakers don’t. Although speakers like vandies, gallo, peiga, and devore are not dipoles, there’s something about the enclosureless design or voicing that creates dipole-ish attributes like a big, open soundstage, speed, coherents through the drivers, lack of enclosure colorations. Sorry, I’m not very good at describing sounds.
