well; you R talking about a speaker (after taxes) around $4 grand

whereas the Maggie which retails for around $1700. Which, if I read your assessment correct, can hold it's own quite nicely in that neighborhood.

Now pit it with a set of Maggies in that price range; the 3.6's and amp em' correctly, I think you'd be amazed at what they can accomplish.

$2300 extra could go a long way in making the 1.6's perform at the level they're known for. Including getting rid of the graininess.

But, you're happy and that's all that matters!
