My Dahlquist DQ-10s are just starting to show serious midbass driver issues (and are thus relegated to the basement for now) after 30+ years of use. The woofers were refoamed in 2002, and have a ton of life left.Not sure if its worth the bother to redo the midbass drivers, as I have a new and better sounding (to MY ears) speakers in my system...
It really does depend on the speaker, the owner, and the abuse/use it will see over its life...
