cow-plop....wait until rain...give it a couple of hours...pluck the tall ones out of the cow patty and away you go. No actual cows are hurt.
This worked behind my house in La Honda in the 60's and behind my house in Hawaii in the mid 70's...there was a dairy....rain would come...I'd wait a hour and a half and them go trap sing thru the manure a' harvesting as I went...
