Marc was huge in Britain, but I could never understand why he didn't translate in America. He was a true original, despite the fact that he often got slagged in the press as a rip-off artist. How Marc Bolan and T-Rex aren't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame--either here or in England--is a mystery to me. A travesty, actually.
