Every luke-water individual regarding the Beatles who attened that show that I know said the same thing: As soon as they left the show they wanted to go out and by every Beatles record in existence. The reviewer has a point about the marketing aspect of their catalogue. It's a mess. But remixing and remastering it is very, VERY cool.
Yellow submarine and Let It Be Naked, at least in terms of their audio quality are miles ahead of the original releases, and I own everything that was officically released on the Capital, Parlophone and MFSL labels. And I've got them all on CD too!
I still can't get over "Eleanor Rigby". That track from Yellow Sub soundtrack is a stone killer and completely and utterly smokes any other version ever released bar none!
Sorry for the passion, but I'm a Beatles fan too.
Also, I disagree with the reviewers statement that every track they ever did was perfect. Every fan has a Beatles track they hate, and the one I utterly despise is "Mr. Moonlight".
That track sucks beyond comprehension.
