Most of the songs obviously aren't completely finished, but they're good enough to show that Chris was a major talent worthy of a lot more recognition than he's received all these years. Alex was obviously a driving force behind the brilliance of Big Star, but Chris's contribution on that first record (and probably the second) was huge. Big Star wouldn't have sounded like they did without his influence--no doubt.
