It was where N bound Shattuck dead ended at University ave. I lived in Barkley from 73 to 87. I saw Van Morrison,Howlin wolf,TomPetty, Willie Dixon,John Mayall,Talking heads, Jerry Garcia band , Captain Beefheart
cant remember 1/2 the artists. John Lee Hooker was always hangin out.The owner Bobby ?? built a new club down on adeline. The city screwed him and was never opened. I think it was a guitar center for a while. With so many places in the city, why come to Berkeley for anything.
