Ah, the Presidio. Back in 1983, I attended Presidio Middle School, and the Presidio itself was an Army outpost. We had a few schoolmates, who actually lived in the Presidio. They called themselves "army brats."

At this time, a band from SoCal relocated to the Bay. That band? Metallica. I actually did not really identify them, until a year later, when they had come out with Ride The Lightning.

Be that as it may, from their first album, Kill 'Em All, we liked "Seek & Destroy."

Nowadays, "Seek & Destroy" is just part of the "classic rock" oeuvre. It's used in team sports, such as when the San Jose Sharks hit the ice.
