Scanned this the best I could, but there's a charm, with these old photos. That was my girlfriend KJ, near Half Moon Bay. In 1988-89, Queensryche's Operation: Mindcrime was one of our favorite intelligent prog metal albums. But the sonics were kind of gray, airless, and distorted.

With the SHM-CD, it turns out that the album's sonics actually are not hazy. To hear the album more cleanly and clearly is a treat and revelation.
