House Of Hope

During the 1991-92 school year, I lived in UCSC's Crown/Merrill apartments. I was in Building 2, which was at one end of the complex.

My friend Tuyet, a Merrill student, lived here, in Building 11, which was at a different end of the complex from mine. She lived on the second floor, but with the bedroom to your left, whose window is not in this photo. Anyway, Tuyet's roommate had Toni Childs' House Of Hope. The Producer was David Ricketts, who was one half of David + David. The title track had appeared in the movie, Thelma And Louise.

But Tuyet's roommate liked "I've Got To Go Now," which was about getting out of an abusive relationship. Because the roommate had this CD, the rest of us didn't have to buy it :-)
