I have a turntable but it's in storage in the basement. The last time I used it was 4 or 5 years ago to transfer a LP to CD for a friend. I got rid of my LP collection years ago but kept about 20 LPs that are special to me. For example, several were recorded by a band in which the lead guitarist was best man at my wedding. Interestingly, my adult son took all of my Beatles albums. I've got no reason to get rid of the turntable and its nice to have available if I need to transfer another album or just get an urge to relive the past.
