The only way I would go to another Audiophile/Stereophile show were if:
1. I were in Seattle to visit my Audiophile brother, while there just happened to be a show there.
2. There were a show in the Bay Area, and either my brother came down, or one of my two audiophile friends who live around here, went with me to the show. (FYI: I dislike going to the shows alone.)
3. One (or more) of the three above persons decided they wanted to go to the Big Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and perhaps also go to a Raiders game, (since I have not yet seen a game there).
(I did go about 10-15 years ago to CES with one of my friends, and it was fun, but I did not buy anything, nor did it lead me to buy anything.)
And yeah, I am a boomer, albeit not yet retired, although my brother is retired as is one of my audiophile friends who live closeby.
