Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

RE: Any comparisons?

I generally don't use in-ear devices. I just can't seat them well enough to be my satisfactory sound. YMMV. So, I can't make a direct comparison with the FiiO FT1 headphones which are closed-back devices. However, some observations:

The iIf DAC has enough output for these headphones, and probably most others. (Maybe not planars.)

I don't find the iFi bright; sound seems to me well balanced.

The devices works with iPhone, PC, Chromebook, and even Linux with the use of external drivers. It comes with plus/adaptors for USB, USB C, and Lightning. That's pretty cool, as long as I don't lose them!

Really a bargain, and I look forward to traveling in style when next I fly. BTW - I sometimes take a JBL Go bluetooth speaker for hotel rooms. While not "audiophile," it sure allows me to have acceptable audio when I'm away from my various home systems. So, the audio bug must really have bitten me.
