but what impresses me the most about Merason Reuss DAC is the multiple power transformers with multitude of separate power feeds to different board circuits, which are all nicely separated, culminating into nice discrete analogue output stages.
With setup like that, it would be very difficult for ANY DAC chip to not sound at least good. Only problem is Merason is Swiss, so..$$$
