RE: REVIEW: Musical Fidelity A3cd CD Player/Recorder

Several years ago I bought a nearly new MF 308 cd player the second from the top of the line. New it was expensive and for a cd player of the time a good one and highly reviewed. I preferred my Well Tempered 'table and arm even with a Sumiko BPS. Luckily I stumbled onto a reference to Lavry Engineering dac after getting a Nottingham 294 'table and arm with a Dynavector 17D3 cartridge and becoming really dissatisfied with the MF. The Lavry DA10 is a steal. The remote for the MF stopped working and the MF people wont have anything to do with me-even the ones in England. The 308 still works fine as a deck. It's one of the earlier ones and built like a bank vault.
