I opened it up, blew some dust off the lense and problem has gone away. Years ago it occurred, became intermittent, and I sent it back to mfg who replaced the lense. The first time it occurred after 4 1/2 years of constant service, so the lense replacement was realistic. Hopefully its only dust this time.
