... I would have it serviced before it's too late, i.e out of warranty. I had the same happen to me with the new Audio Aero Prima, at first I just had to unplug it to solve the problem, then it stopped reading CDs altogether.
Your player should accept normal CDs and there's obviously a problem somewhere.
