What's good to one person is so-so to another and terrible to a third. I have two SACD/CD players that have listenable sound on CDs, but I really don't care for it all that much. These are the Sony C2000ES and the Pioneer 588A. I would call them fair at best, but maybe that's because I have become spoiled by my latest stand-alone CD player that is vastly better. Both of these players have much better sound than my first player, the original Sony CDP-101, and my second player, the Magnavox (Phillips) CDB-650, but they are not as good as another former player, the Arcam FMJ CD23, which should be no surprise. So, what do you mean by "good?"Joe
