Sorry, hifi, but I still don't see that your claim has much validity. I would not be the least bit surprised that a college student would purchase something and then soon after get rid of it to raise some cash. And if the dealer was an authorized Rega dealer, I doubt that he "fell for a good story." Any problem with the unit would have been easily recognized by the dealer. Sounds like you could have gotten a good price on a nearly new Apollo, maybe even with a warranty.Waiting until "they get it right" will not change what will be offered by Rega. It's already "right". The benefit of waiting is that you will eventually be able to pick up a used Rega Apollo for less money than a new one. But you'll have given up all that time you could have been enjoying it.
