Ok,, John, I gotcha.. Ive never been into any transport and now I here what you are saying about the ease of the mechanical fix. Then, I gotta ask though... Whats the source of these 9/44's? rebuilds(China) or NOS..or? and from what you are saying.. If a Lambda uses the 9 pro... may well be able to swap out lasers from a 9/44,,,IF everying else is equal.. I wonder if its a given that all CDM-9 pro's are created equal?
