Best way to stress test a used CDP?

What's the best way to stress test a used CDP to make sure you didn't just buy a lemon? I'm thinking about letting it burn-in for 24 hours non-stop immediately after delivery to see if there's anything abnormal. Is this a good way to do it? Thanks!
