HowdyI should have been clearer, the system I heard and described above ripped losslessly to the computer faster than real time and also played from the hard disk. The fact that it failed to do both at the same time meant that it wasn't quite ready for prime time in my book. It was at a show and it was a good feature to not have to wait for the whole disk to be ripped before you could start listening.
