Well, that answers all of those questions.... many thanks for that Charles. I am glad that I have the opportunity for upgrades on most of my kit.
The next thing after upgrading the CD would be what I do with the Pre amp. If you don't mind, could I ask another question on a similar theme. I have a K5x and V5x which I am currently enjoying but I have a friend interested in buying my Pre as I have entertained the idea of a K1-xe, so here is my question. I use a P5x evolution phono stage in full balanced mode and it is awesome... but would the optional integrated phono stage in the K1-xe perform better or would I do just as well to keep my P5-xe as a seperate unit taking into account one does not require an extra length of cable being effectively hard wired inside.Something might give you the idea that I quite like what you are doing with you products....
