Iam not quite there re gold plating as I have just left in the Cyko ones on the sub, however not far away.if you can give me a week or so ?

I can however comment on unplated copper plug and iec together and unplated copper plug and monosaudio plated rhodium over copper.

The all copper is more laid back, with the instruments further back whereas with the rhodium iec the instruments are further forward with more dynamics and openness, more involving because of this.

This is from my balanced power transformer to Xangsane blue receptacle.

When my incoming Accuphase pc's arrive I will change out the blade assemblies as per previous discussions and connect to my digital side which is the Zidoo neo s and neodio dac. I will of course try the gold plated option too.

My pure silver plug and iec with Accuphase wire have remained in place for many months on my pre amp and phono stage because they sounded right from the start. I will try a different combo later when Iam in the right mood to do so.
