RE: Great!

I may have to try one from preamp to amp. I currently have an Audioquest mid-range cable in there (I forget which), but I always wanted to try silver as I have from my DAC to preamp. Maybe this will be a good compromise. They are cheap enough that they are worth a try. Also want to try the speaker cables as I haven't changed those since I built my speakers years ago and use Canare 4S11 star quad. Funny enough is that the internal cables in my speakers are real Nordost flat cables, not these knockoffs.

I should mention what I used for the test. I was streaming Qobuz via Audirvana running on a Macbook Pro, over the wifi/DLNA to a Raspberry Pi running Volumio, and over the USB to a Topping E30 DAC. My preamp is a diy Aikido using 6GM8 tubes at 24v, and the amp is an ST-70 converted to 6B4G DHT. The RPi and E30 are powered with an Anker phone charger battery that'll last an entire day, and has the added benefit of always being charged when I need to take it for my phone. I have two so we swap them back and forth. The speakers are a modified version of the Proac 2.5 clones that was making the rounds many years ago, with the modification given to me by Troels Gravesen. He was an early builder of these but didn't like them himself and when I wrote to him he gave me some design changes to try, replace the tweeter with a better ScanSpeak, and a better crossover. It was much better.
