Strip back some insulation and sand down the silver-colored conductor. I bet anything it's copper under the tinning.
Then, copper color goes to (+) terminals and silver color goes to (-).
I definitely prefer this type of zip cord to the type where polarity is indicated only by a tiny white stripe, or a nearly invisible ridge, on one conductor.
