Check out this link.
Most of those caps don't fail easily, did you check all of the tubes? Going to replace all of the old wax caps/electrolytics?
Sure I'm different, I use tubes!

I'm testing the tubes tonight
I hope it's that easy.
I was rushing again. I'll ge her fixed. I had rebuilt the power supply and hoped that would do it. I'm getting ahead of myself. Thanks for that link
Hours and hours to do these right.
Thanks again
Keep us up to date. I have a late 40's Chairside (CR226) that I should get going. I think the AM works but no FM.

Rickl....Would it be possible to post a picture of your
Chairside radio's front panel? I've got an empty cabinet
with no electronics and haven't seen a picture of the radio.
I believe my cabinet to be from the early 40's.
Thanks,
John
I found this off the net but they look the same. I have a pic of the tuner/turntable too.

Thanks, but I've seen the pictures on the internet. I am needing a picture
of the radio faceplate, dials, etc. in case one shows up on e-bay
I believe the picture you show is from the early 50's. Mine which
has no electronics, is probably early 40's and a picture is hopefully
attatched.
Thanks.
John, Here is a pick of the faceplate.
