Global warming has its upside (which certain demographics don't like to talk about). I've seen avocados in the grocery store, grown in Canada. That's a good thing. Someday, maybe my grandchildren (if there ever are any) will be able to visit Wisconsin in the winter, and not need long underwear (sorry for you folks in the long underwear biz).
Aside, I wonder why "climate change migrants" from Central America and even northern South America don't migrate to Argentina or Chile, or Uraguay? It'd be a lot easier - fewer border crossings, shorter trip, same basic language, ...). (Next time I say "let's go to Bolivia, let's GO to Bolivia.")
Anyway...
The greening of more northern and southern latitudes might offset the loss of Amazon rainforest acreage. Heck, there's even new plant growth in Greenland.
Question: How many acres of greenery have been turned into cement and buildings, just in the past 50 years or so? How many?

We are inclusive and diverse, but dissent will not be tolerated.
it's such a shameful thing to use "global warming" for political purposes (as in votes), and not in a full scientific context as in "climate change and why".
And why not speak like a true scientist with believable evidence and show exactly WTF is happening - "I Speak the truth and here it is" and "No lies or exaggerations". There are so many factors it can make the head spin coming from many whirling dervish types. They talk such a very good game and it's making my head spin, so it must be true.
There's nothing quite as effective as scaring the voting sheeple with what could be such alarming crystal ball news. All for the sake of more votes and power.
I'm not on it particularly, but I am concerned because I do visit Mexico and some Central American countries.
They appear to be ALL affected severely with drought caused by climate change.
The problem with the Amazon, that we probably know for certain, is that climate change and land use change are happening simultaneously to the complete detriment of the Amazon.
So, the migrant stream will not let up, except that the US and Canada are also experiencing their version of climate change crises.
