  I don't have any of his recordings as a leader, but I always enjoyed him as a sideman and the few times I saw him live. Plus he is featured on the soundtrack to one of my favorite movies, Love Streams, by Cassevettes, for which he sang and I think wrote a kind of weird theme song. It's past time I checked him out more.
