I've got an L2 now after several Dynavectors and a Sumiko Blackbird. I really like the L2 and it is far from bright. I think it is detailed, but sweetly so.Nothing against the Dynas, mind. I still own a 10x4 and a 20XH. The L2 came my way in a TT purchase and it's been a real bonus. That said, I'll probably own more Dynavactors before long.
A cart that really intrigues me, not that I've heard it, is the Ortofon Jubilee. Intrigued by the reviews I mean.

Now you've got me curious about the Ortophon. It has some very good reviews. Whenever multiple reviewers say "among the best I've heard" you've got to keep it in mind. $1800 is a bit more than I'd like to spend though.I'll be stretching if I buy the Benz or Koetsu.
I actually have the Jubilee in addition to the Music Maker 3. I love it, but I didn't recommend it to you because it was in a higher price bracket. The jubilee is a noticeably better cartridge than the MM3 I recommended before (IMHO), but at a cost. Now if you want to jump in price again, my favorite cartridge in my stable is the Lyra Skala...Regards,

Can the jubilee be retipped at a reasonable price? Spending 2 grand on an item that needs to be replaced is something I'm trying to avoid. (A big plus for Benz)
