I don't know. I see some errors in the log from about that time, but they don't mean much to me. I was also debugging something and resarted the server a couple times about that time. It might be that I did something. I just tried it and of course, it works for me.Can you try it again?
I went to Home, then How You Can Help. Clicked on "contributor" and got same message. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't know. I'm seeing the same errors in the log, but they don't make sense.[Sun Jul 18 07:09:16 2004] [error] mod_ssl: SSL handshake interrupted by system [Hint: Stop button pressed in browser?!] (System error follows)
[Sun Jul 18 07:09:16 2004] [error] System: Connection reset by peer (errno: 54)What browser are you using?
You could try Paypal below or use this Fax form .

I have a Mac and use Internet Explorer. No problem with any other aspect of AA site. Paypal is out of the question. If this continues I'll use the fax, but since I don't own a fax machine this would be somewhat of a pita. I'll keep trying for a while. I'm no computer whiz, so I don't understand what the problem is.

I did a search and found that another person was having problems with specific versions of IE, 4.something maybe. Have you updated IE in a while? Do you have Safari?

I have IE 5, which so far works perfectly with all other aspects of AA site as well as every other site I go to, including plenty of sites which I buy from via credit card and have to fill out forms for. What's Safari?

It's Apple's default browser. Stephen has a Mac and a couple browsers. I'll ask him to try it. I suspect it's something in the OpenSSL and that version of IE.

Several times today, including when I posted immediately above, I get a box saying "Your form has been submitted. Please be patient, I'm working on it." This never happened before either.

It's a new feature that I added to avoid duplicate posts. You should only see that alert if the server is slow. However, the time was set rather low for dialup. I just increased it to 4 seconds, so it should show up less often. Basically, the Post button gets disabled after clicking on it and an alert pops up if you don't get the confirmation page in a preset time period.
