i have a vintage aiwa mini componant system that i'm trying to find out what it's worth. it has a wood case that all peices slide into. it concistes of tuner R22,preamp C22,dc amp P22,tape deck L22u and art audio ba-400mkiii speakers. i have all the original manual's,warranty card and bill of sale when it was sold back on 5/17/1980 for $915.19. does anyone have any idea what this might be worth. thank's.

but it may not be as dire as what Dave has predicted. I had a similar model, and was pretty pleased with it. Sony has used the Aiway brand for some higher end experiments and some lower end exploits. You have one of the good systems. As long as it is working for you and you are happy with it, keep it.
That's probably not what you want to hear, but a 27 year old system isn't going to sell for very much unless there's something truly special about it. Aiwa is not a high-end brand, so I doubt there are many avid collectors out there who are just dying to find that particular setup. If it still works, you might as well just keep it, unless it's sitting in a box in a closet and you'll never use it.

I have to agree with the above response, Aiwa is NOT regarded as an audiophile product you may want to sell it but you wont get much for it, you can donated to a charitable organization instead of getting a few bucks for it.
