JVC JL-A15 running slow

I'm attempting to resurrect a JVC JL-A15 that was thrown in with a bulk LP purchase. Today the new belt arrived, and the table is running about 1% slow at 33 1/3. There was no owner's manual, and no speed adjustment knob. A search on the web turned up the service manual but no owner's manual.

Before shelling out for the service manual, it seems prudent to ask some questions first. Is anyone familiar with this turntable or similar JVC tables? Is there a means to adjust speed? If so, is it relatively easy or bothersome?
