Anyone know the internal structural difference between the two? Guitar amp folklore sez the 12AX7LP with the non-spiral heater filament is sometimes more quiet than the LPS. And that the non-spiral LP last longer in combo amps (where the amp and speaker(s) are in the same cabinet).
