I need some advise I hear you guys are the ones that know. So here goes, for years I have wanted a pair of the maggies. I read all the blogs about them and have finally gotten a pair a couple months ago. I sent them straight to magnepan for a complete rebuild and new black socks look great, everything I have ever read says they take a lot of power to drive them. How much power are we talking about? The manual says 40 to 80 watts but I'm getting away from whats important. I was told by the nice lady at magnepan that they require a break in period, so for the last few days I have been playing them at a very low volume and have been listening to very moderate music, well my wife wanted to listen to something with a little more bass and thats when I heard it. the right speaker sounds busted when a certain bass signal comes across, what might be wrong? is the glue coming undone already and how do I make them loud? Their just not very loud although they really sound great, could it be that Im to used to my altec A-7 or the lascla's? I have tried driving them with my MC240, DynacoMKIII, DynacoST70, EicoST70, Sony n-80es
