Take-away. Looks like we spend as much on food outside the home than in.
Back in '71 it was only about a third?
If I am reading the chart correctly, 5% of disposable income on food prepared at home and another 5% on food outside the house?
If it's fast food these folks are eating outside the home, no wonder our projected lifespan in this country is dropping.
