RE: Crossover suggestions for vintage 3 way magnavox

You'd need a CD or something with test tones along with a db meter. Just guessing, the 15" likely would be crossed around 800-1200hz. You could just add a capacitor to set the crossover for the 12" (800-1,200hz) and try it with the 15" without any crossover and leave the horn unused.

To blend in the mids, you'll need a coil to set the 15" in that 800-1200 range to just do the bass.

Where the treble dies off, that's where you bring in the horn. Again, where does the treble fall off. Likely in the 8-10Khz range and try a few capacitors for the tweeter.

Basically, it just needs a coil and two capacitors for a simple 1st order crossover.
