David, I did not mean to confuse you but the Heathkit AA-161 was the same style amp as the other 2 I mentioned. It came after the (alligator style) covered amp, which output jacks are underneath the chassis.
The AA-161 had white and charcoal steel coloring. That was about 1962. The knobs have clear plastic around the rims. They re-styled it in 1963 0r 64 with a tan and white/black color and called it the AA-113....Mark K.
