Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

My son told me that my grandson wanted a little radio for Christmas. The little guy liked his dad's Sangean DTV-200 that I had given him a few years back. It was and is my gold standard for pocket AM/FM radios. But they've changed that model slightly and it wasn't in stock at CCrane.
So I ordered this little Sony with earphones. It only uses one AAA battery and has AM/FM/TV. And last night after he opened the gift I was setting the station preset buttons for him. Woah! The distant AM stations were booming in. FM & TV were pretty good too. And the little jewell is about $30 cheaper than the Sangean.
Check it out. (I have nothing to do with CCrane of course but they did ship it promptly a week or so ago.)
